Regionalism – the potassium cyanide of India

My mother is not more divine than your mother.
My language is not better than your language.
Unlike many other nations which speak one language India speaks many and unfortunately are identified with their language/state.
Politicians sow division to reap vote and people fall in their trap.
Language is an emotion in many states and the rulers tend to protect mass killers in the name of regional chauvinism.
All the parties in Tamilnadu have woven cradles for the killers of Rajiv Gandhi.
Punjab Government is keen in saving Bhullar’s life.
India has already a peril in caste. But unlike caste where the fight will be among the people within a state, regionalism is between states, promoted even by governments.
Kaveri causes heartburn in Tamilnadu and Karnataka. The same is the case with Mullaperiyar dam between Kerala and Tamilnadu.
One should have the spine not to get associated with his/her regional language.
Vernacular media add fuel to the trouble in trying to exist at any cost.
To save a nation with many languages, death of a language should be celebrated.
Jai Hind.
